1. Request phone verification

The actual request form shows this unchecked choice beside its action:

I request one QRBuilding text with a single-use verification link for my on-file phone number. One text per eligible request; the link expires in 10 minutes. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to stop all QRBuilding texts from (888) 906-6886. This request does not enroll me in building alerts.

A phone number alone is not consent. The form asks for your unit and on-file U.S. phone and gives a neutral acknowledgement. It does not reveal roster matches.

2. Separately choose building alerts

After phone verification, the form names your actual building and phone and offers a separate unchecked choice. Preview wording, with the building name supplied in the protected continuation:

I agree to receive optional QRBuilding building alerts from [your building] management at my verified on-file phone number, sent from (888) 906-6886. These nonpromotional texts cover water shutdowns, service interruptions, important operational notices and relevant safety updates. Frequency varies with building activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to stop all texts from this sender. Consent is not required for verification, ordinary portal access or purchase.

Only pressing Save alert preference after checking that choice records enrollment. You can turn off this building’s alerts from the same protected preferences page, which also shows whether alert delivery is available for your building.

Enrollment happens on the website. Texting a keyword does not request a verification link or enroll you in building alerts.

STOP blocks both verification and building alerts covered by this number or Messaging Service. Turning off building alerts on this page affects only this building’s alerts. To rejoin after STOP, text START or UNSTOP to (888) 906-6886, then verify your phone and choose each building’s alerts again. A checkbox cannot clear a provider block; START does not restore old subscriptions.

Reply HELP for help or email support@qrbuilding.com. Keyword confirmations are handled by the messaging provider or carrier.

Delivery may be delayed or fail. SMS is not guaranteed, an official public-warning service, or a replacement for emergency services or the building’s other required emergency channels. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

SMS opt-in and consent information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging service providers process the information needed to deliver requested texts and handle preferences. See the Privacy Policy for data handling and choices.
